	Renewable Energy Scheme. The Wesley Centre boasts an installation of 92 Photovoltaic Panels which produces a predicted annual 10,965 kWh which offsets 6228kgCO2/yr. The £80,000 scheme was funded by: · Low Carbons Building Programme – Phase 2E £37,894 · Big Lotteries – Community Sustainable Energy Project £35,000 · Maltby Community Development Trust £7,106 Design, installation and commissioning were carried out by British Gas Solar Ltd in February 2011. It is estimated that this scheme will provide some 25% of our power usage and complements other energy efficiencies works (new boiler and cavity foam installation) carried out in early 2010. This renewable energy scheme is the largest of its type on a community owned facility in the whole of South Yorkshire.
