Indoor Crown Green Bowling Arena
The Trust has commissioned Dr Christine Fiddler of jcf Consultancy Ltd to carry out an independent Market Feasibility and Business Viability Study for the provision of this type of facility here in Maltby. The facility will not just include indoor bowling but shall also include a large open flexible indoor space which shall accommodate 5 aside football, basket ball, badminton, netball and possibly athletics uses. Additional leisure activities will include snooker & pool, licensed bar and catering.
We expect if the study is positive that the overall scheme will cost between £2.5m - £3M.
Community Based Housing Association
RMBC Housing Market Renewal Department has carried out an intensive and in depth market research as to future affordable housing needs in Maltby. As a result of this work, RMBC and the Trust are working together to identify suitable building plots so the Trust can take forward proposals for affordable housing in Maltby.
